Welcome to my garden!

I am the Gardener, and I garden on a little piece of land somewhere in the middle of Belgium.

I write this blog to keep a record of my experiments in the garden, the plants I grow and the little beautiful things I see there. As the title of the blog suggest, I have a particular fondness for chilli peppers and poppies, particularly Papaver rhoeas and Papaver somniferum. Apart from gardening posts, you may see the occasional post about handcrafts and cooking as well.

I am in my mid-thirties, married to Husband, owner of Dog and have a full-time office job.
